► Adolescent and Youth-Friendly Health Services (AYFHS) is a holistic approach that ensures high quality services are available to all adolescents and youth in order to improve their health while meeting their expectations and needs in the right way.
► AYFHS are accessible, acceptable and appropriate for adolescents and youth provided in the right place, at the right time and at the right price
► AYFHS are equitable with no discrimination against any category of adolescents and youth.
► AYFHS also build confidentiality around the youth and adolescents by enabling them to voice out their experiences on confidential issues e.g. sexual assault (rape). The centers report the cases to the State Domestic Sexual Violence Response Team (DSVRT) with the adolescent’s consent/ parents’ consent.
